David L. Haron focuses his practice in health care law, federal and state False Claims Act litigation, business transactions, and commercial litigation. He represents whistleblowers across the country in False Claims Act cases involving fraud and misuse of government funds, helping to recover nearly $300 million from corporations and individuals who fraudulently received funding from taxpayers. Mr. Haron also represents and counsels health care clients in a wide array of legal matters, including compliance with fraud and abuse laws, credentialing and employment matters, shareholder disputes, regulatory interpretation, and business organization. A graduate of the University of Michigan Law School and an active member of numerous professional associations, he has been featured as a Michigan Super Lawyer and honored with the 2010 "Michigan Lawyers Weekly" Leader in the Law award. Mr. Haron frequently serves as an arbitrator and a mediator and is a hearing panelist on the Michigan Attorney Discipline Board. He is an adjunct professor at the University of Michigan Law School, where he teaches a course on the business and economics of health law.
