Amir E. Abu-Aita practices in the areas of elder law, Medicaid planning, veterans benefits planning, probate, estate planning, business transactions, and assisted living law. He is a member of the Genesee County Bar Association as well as the Elder Law and Disability Rights and Probate and Estate Planning Sections of the State Bar of Michigan. Mr. Abu-Aita is an accredited attorney through the Department of Veterans Affairs, Office of General Counsel. In addition, he is member of the Genesee County Commission on Aging and Adult Foster Care Providers of Genesee County and serves as the treasurer of Elder Abuse Alliance (formerly the Genesee County Elder Abuse Task Force). Mr. Abu-Aita has an extensive background of helping the elderly through family-owned licensed adult foster care homes and now hopes to help even more elderly in their legal and planning needs.
