Brandan A. Hallaq is a member of the firm, where he litigates cases involving defective construction, contract disputes, shareholder-member disputes, quiet title actions, enforcement of restrictive covenants, and real estate foreclosure actions. He is also a licensed real estate broker in the State of Michigan and leads the real estate transactions department at the firm, where he negotiates and prepares necessary documents for complex residential and commercial real estate transactions. Previously, Mr. Hallaq worked for a federal judge and in a Fortune 500 corporation's in-house legal department. He currently serves as a cochair of the Residential Transactions and Finance Committee for the Real Property Law Section of the State Bar of Michigan. Mr. Hallaq has been recognized as a Rising Star in the area of real estate law by Super Lawyers from 2018 through 2024, included on the Ones to Watch list in real estate law and construction law by "The Best Lawyers in America" from 2021 through 2025, and selected as an Up and Coming Lawyer by "Michigan Lawyers Weekly" in 2020.
