Samantha J. Orvis, an executive partner at the firm, primarily focuses her practice on insurance coverage, contract interpretation, and the defense of personal injury claims, including first-party no-fault claims, negligence, and other general liability claims. She has recently expanded her practice to providing alternative dispute resolution services and is a SCAO-approved certified mediator. Ms. Orvis currently serves on the board of directors of the Genesee County Bar Association as its women lawyer's delegate. She also is a member of the Judicial Qualifications and Character and Fitness Committees for the State Bar of Michigan. Ms. Orvis was awarded the Michigan Defense Trial Counsel's Young Lawyers Golden Gavel Award in 2019 and has been recognized by Super Lawyers as a Rising Star from 2016-2021 and as a Super Lawyer since 2023. She was also honored as a member of the "Michigan Lawyers Weekly" Women in the Law class of 2021.
