Emily Conway is a referee with the Ingham County Friend of the Court. Prior to her employment with the Friend of the Court, Ms. Conway was in private practice for more than 10 years representing clients in matters including divorce, child custody, child support, and parenting time. She was a hearing referee with the Michigan Tax Tribunal, Small Claims Division, for seven years. Ms. Conway was also a long-term member and past chair of the Lawyers and Judges Assistance Committee, which recommends and supports programs that provide assistance to lawyers and judges faced with personal and professional problems related to addiction and stress. Ms. Conway is a member of the State Bar of Michigan and Ingham County Bar Association.
