Tad T. Roumayah

Tad T. Roumayah focuses his practice primarily on employment litigation, representing employees who have encountered discrimination and retaliation, including violations of Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, the Family and Medical Leave Act, and the Americans with Disabilities Act; wrongful discharge; whistleblower protection claims; wage-and-hour violations; and other employment issues and disputes. He also represents people and businesses involved in contract disputes and business torts and advises companies on their human resource policies and procedures and other employment-related matters. Before joining Sommers Schwartz, Mr. Roumayah founded and operated his own law practice, giving him perspective on and experience with the unique challenges that employers, employees, and businesses face as they strive to be successful. He has successfully litigated employment cases in both state and federal court and has been listed in "Super Lawyers Rising Stars" in Michigan since 2013. Mr. Roumayah has written and lectured on employment litigation issues.
