Philip E. Hamilton handles all forms of civil, commercial, and business litigation and real estate law matters at the firm. Mr. Hamilton has represented businesses in civil litigation and defense, employment and labor disputes, city regulatory matters, drafting contracts, and collection on accounts and judgments. He has also counseled companies on acquisitions at local, regional, and national levels; consulted with small businesses on various licensing, compliance, and permit issues; and assisted those businesses in the formation of limited liability companies, corporations, and other business organizational structures, working in close contact with accounting professionals. Mr. Hamilton is licensed to practice in Michigan and before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit and the U.S. District Courts for the Eastern and Western Districts of Michigan. He is on the board of directors of the Kalamazoo County Bar Association and is also a member of the State Bar of Michigan, the American Bar Association, and the Federal Bar Association.
