Antoinette S. Porter is the chief diversity officer and director of human resources at DT Midstream Inc., an independent publicly traded company. She was instrumental in preparing the company spinoff from its prior affiliation with DTE Energy, where she had previously served as the manager of employment and labor for 11 years, advising DTE leadership and human resources on employment issues. Ms. Porter started her legal career in a boutique law firm practicing employment law and managing human resources while also serving as program director for the firm's sister business, JustUs, which provided risk management solutions to minimize legal exposure and fraud losses for clients. She was the first Latina and first two-term president of the Detroit Bar Association Barristers, where she served as director and was named "Barrister of the Year" in 2009. She is actively involved with school partnership programs that bring exposure of legal careers and issues to students. Ms. Porter also earned a Master of Business Administration from Madonna University, with certification in Human Resources, and is also certified as a Senior Professional in Human Resources.
