Monique C. Field-Foster concentrates her practice on all facets of government affairs, including policy strategy and development, analysis and drafting of legislation, legislative events, state procurement and other advocacy initiatives. An experienced lobbyist and policy analyst, Ms. Field-Foster has nearly 20 years of experience in government affairs. Her experience includes five years as the assistant vice president of Strategic Initiatives Office of Governmental Affairs, where she designed and implemented programs to educate and inform MSU constituencies, encouraging state and local officials to invest in MSU higher education initiatives; as director of government affairs for the Department of Management and Budget, as deputy director of legislative affairs for the Office of the Governor and as a legislative policy analyst for the Michigan House of Representatives. Most recently, Ms. Field-Foster served as Deputy Legal Counsel for the Whitmer Transition Team and provided legal counsel for all aspects of the transition and legislative agenda.
