Brian A. Kreucher

Royal Oak, Michigan

Brian A. Kreucher provides cost-effective labor and employment advice to companies of all sizes. He regularly counsels employers in a broad range of employment and labor law matters, including employment discrimination, retaliation, and harassment cases; wage-and-hour matters; reductions in force; union avoidance; unfair competition involving misappropriation of trade secrets; enforcement and defense of restrictive covenants; personnel policies for multistate implementation; and navigation of the alphabet soup of employment laws including the ADA, ADAAA, ADEA, COBRA, EEOC, ERISA, FLSA, FMLA, GINA, NLRA, OSHA, Title VII, USERRA, WARN Act, ELCRA, and PWDCRA. Mr. Kreucher regularly litigates and arbitrates matters throughout the country. He also heads a team of attorneys with experience to strategically and cost effectively lead or manage internal workplace investigations. As an extension of his clients' human resources and in-house legal teams, Mr. Kreucher takes a practical approach to every matter, always mindful of business needs, budgetary pressures, and the precedent the course of action may set. He has served on the Michigan Defense Trial Counsel's board of directors and is a past chair of the State Bar of Michigan's Labor and Employment Law Section. Mr. Kreucher is also a member of the Labor and Employment Law Section of the American Bar Association and a professional member of the Society for Human Resources Management and the Human Resources Association of Greater Detroit.
