Of Counsel to the firm, Kurtis T. Wilder served as a Michigan Supreme Court Justice from May 2017 through 2018. He previously served four terms (1998-2017) on the Michigan Court of Appeals and as chief judge of the Washtenaw County Trial Court. A fellow of the Michigan State Bar Foundation, Mr. Wilder is a member of the State Bar of Michigan, the Federalist Society, and the Wolverine Bar Association. He is a past president of the Michigan Judges Association and past chair of the State Bar Judicial Conference. Mr. Wilder is a former chair of the State of Michigan Community Corrections Advisory Board, and he serves on the boards of the Detroit Symphony Orchestra, the Children’s Hospital of Michigan Foundation, and Interlochen Center for the Arts.
