Gwendolyn Graddy, MD

Southfield, Michigan


Gwendolyn Graddy is a board-certified physician in internal medicine and geriatrics. She currently oversees medical education for APPs, medical students, residents, and geriatric fellows rotating through PACE Southeast Michigan (PACESEMI). Dr. Graddy joined PACESEMI in 2001 as medical director and retired as chief medical officer in 2021. She was previously active on a number of committees with the National PACE Association, including serving as chair of the program committee. Dr. Graddy speaks extensively on issues of aging, caregiving, dementia, and work-life balance. She has collaborated on research targeting reducing health disparities in minority populations with diabetes mellitus. Dr. Graddy has received numerous awards and recognition, most recently having PACESEMI name a clinic in her honor. She is a certified physician coach through the Physicians Coaching Institute. Dr. Graddy is also founded Daughters of Christ Standing Steadfast Inc., a women’s physician organization committed to providing support, networking, and mentoring to African American women interested in pursuing careers in medicine, in 1998.
