Detective First Lieutenant Kish is a 30-year veteran of the Michigan State Police currently assigned to the Special Investigation Division, Marijuana & Tobacco Investigation Section. In his current role, Lt. Kish is responsible for illicit-market marijuana investigations as well as tobacco tax enforcement and inspection operations supervising five geographically disbursed office locations statewide. Previous assignments include supervision of three multi-jurisdictional narcotics teams in the greater Lansing and Jackson area, as well as more than a decade of high-tech crime investigation with the MSP Computer Crimes Unit and regional coordinator for the Michigan Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force. Additionally, he was the post commanding lieutenant at the Lansing Post, Flint Post, and Lapeer Post. Lt. Kish is a graduate of the Federal Bureau of Investigations National Academy having attended the 250th session, as well as a graduate of the Michigan State University Staff & Command School.
