Hon. T.J. Ackert took the bench on September 1, 2015, and is assigned to the court's family division. For most of his private practice, Judge Ackert served as a business counsel and trial attorney. He received the distinction of being listed in "Best Lawyers in America" for business organizations, closely held companies and family business law, corporate law, and mergers and acquisitions law. Judge Ackert currently serves on the Tribal State Federal Judicial Forum.
