How to Use Online Training

What’s Included

Online Training focuses on skills—what lawyers do rather than what lawyers know. It includes online lessons and self-assessments. You learn skills through demonstration videos, practice resources, and tools. It also includes interactive elements like branching scenarios and self-assessments where you can see the results of your actions and decisions and how an expert would respond in the same circumstances. Online Training can be completed at your own pace.

See Online Training Policies for more information on subscriptions and access.

How to Find Online Training

  • You can find Online Training available for purchase in the STORE under SEMINARS and CERTIFICATE PROGRAMS. You can search or browse by practice area. Online Training results will include that label.
  • Online Training for which you have current access will be listed in MY RESOURCES, MY TOOLBAR under My Training.

Minimum System Requirements for Online Training

ICLE uses HTML5 to deliver Online Training. To view these products you will need to have a web browser capable of supporting HTML5.

How to Use Self-Assessments

The Apply Your Knowledge sections after each lesson allow you to practice skills taught in that lesson and see the results of your actions and decisions and how an expert would respond in the same circumstances. Once you complete and submit your answer, you will be able to see the EXPERT’S ANSWER. Your answers will not be reviewed by anyone else or graded.
