Nelson P. Miller is a senior emeritus professor at Cooley Law School. Before joining Cooley Law School in 2004, he practiced civil litigation with the law firm of Fajen and Miller in Michigan's state and federal trial and appellate courts. Mr. Miller is a member of the State Bar of Michigan (SBM) and received the SBM's 2005 John W. Cummiskey Award for pro bono service. He has served on the SBM's Representative Assembly, Criminal Issues Initiative, Equal Access Initiative, Publications and Websites Advisory Committee, and Law-Related Education Committee. Mr. Miller has published 60 books, as well as dozens of articles on civil practice in the "Michigan Bar Journal" and elsewhere.
