Daniel P. Malone is a shareholder of the firm and cochairs one of its litigation practice groups. For more than 23 years, Mr. Malone has focused his practice on civil litigation. He is listed in "Best Lawyers in America." In 1997, he served as president of the Eastern District of Michigan chapter of the Federal Bar Association and is a member of the Metropolitan Detroit Bar Association, the State Bar of Michigan, and the American Bar Association. Mr. Malone has published extensively and was a lead editor of the Lawyers Cooperative "Treatise on Federal Civil Procedure Before Trial within the Sixth (Federal) Circuit," in which he coauthored the chapter on subject-matter jurisdiction. He has also taught at Detroit College of Law and Wayne State University Law School.
