Jeffrey S. Ammon

Jeffrey S. Ammon recently retired from active practice in corporate and real estate with an emphasis in the construction industry. A member of the State Bar of Michigan, he is a past chair of the Business Law Section Council, a past nominating director of the Section, and in 2012, recipient of the Section's Stephen H. Schulman Outstanding Business Lawyer Award. Mr. Ammon has been a frequent speaker and writer on corporate and contract-language topics. He is a coeditor and contributor for several ICLE resources. As an adjunct professor, he has taught business planning and contract drafting classes at Cooley Law School. Mr. Ammon has been named in "The Best Lawyers in America," Michigan Super Lawyers, and "Chambers USA: America's Leading Lawyers for Business." He currently teaches selected legal classes for local Grand Rapids nonprofits assisting start-ups.
