Deborah L. Gordon practices in the areas of employment and civil rights. She is a former chair of the Labor and Employment Law Section of the State Bar of Michigan and a member of the American College of Trial Lawyers, the Women Lawyers Association of Michigan, the Michigan Association for Justice (MAJ), the Detroit Metropolitan Bar Association, and the Federal Bar Association (FBA). She is a board member of the Michigan Supreme Court Historical Society and has served as a cochair of the Employment Discrimination Committee of the MAJ, as a member of the FBA executive committee, and as a member of the board of trustees of the American Inns of Court. Ms. Gordon, who is listed in "The Best Lawyers in America" (employment and labor law), was a coeditor of "Sexual Harassment Law and Practice: A Michigan Practitioner's Guide" (ICLE). She is a frequent lecturer on employment and labor law.
