As president of Amicus Management, Inc., Daniel J. Yeomans personally handled 700 cases since 1993 as a court-appointed receiver, business manager, and advisor in loan workouts. Due to his length of tenure in the industry, he had in-depth experience in managing and selling distressed businesses and income-producing real estate assets, including operating businesses, residential developments, industrial real estate, multi-family units, and hospitality venues. Mr. Yeomans worked closely with attorneys, lenders, and other business professionals, merging the two disciplines of receivership administration and business management to develop effective exit strategies. With a master's degree in business administration from Western Michigan University, he was a certified commercial investment member (CCIM) as well as a licensed real estate broker. He passed away on August 30, 2021.
