Alyssa A. Grissom is the legal manager for the Cannabis Regulatory Agency. She and her team handle a variety of responsibilities, including implementing the disciplinary action process and drafting the administrative rules. Previously, Ms. Grissom worked as a former assistant attorney general for the State of Michigan, where she began her work in cannabis law representing the CRA in administrative hearings and civil litigation. Prior to that, she worked as an assistant state’s attorney for the Cook County State’s Attorney’s Office in Chicago, Illinois, handling criminal jury and bench trials, preliminary hearings, and grand jury presentations. She currently serves on the Alumni Board for the Michigan State University College of Law.
