Laura B. Bartell has taught at Wayne State University Law school since 1996 after 17 years of private practice in New York. A graduate of Harvard Law School, where she served on the Harvard Law Review, Ms. Bartell serves as the Associate Reporter for the Federal Rules of Bankruptcy Procedure and is a member of the American Bankruptcy Institute and the American Law Institute. She teaches courses on bankruptcy, secured transactions, property, and effective oral communication for lawyers, and writes in the area of bankruptcy.
