Kristin C. Theut-Newa is the academic director of Legal Research and Writing and an associate professor (teaching) of law at Wayne State University Law School. She teaches courses on legal research and writing and advanced legal writing. Prior to joining the faculty at Wayne State University in 1999, Ms. Theut-Newa practiced law in Michigan for more than 10 years, concentrating first in commercial litigation and later in the non-litigation aspects of corporate law.
