George W. Gregory was a CPA who practiced law and specialized in tax law, estate planning, business law, and probate. He was active in the Taxation Section and the Probate and Estate Planning Section of the State Bar of Michigan, where he chaired many committees and projects. He was also the only lawyer to have held all of the officer positions in both sections. He presented materials for various professional groups, including ICLE, the Michigan Association of Certified Public Accountants, and the Estate Planning Council and wrote about tax-related topics in a variety of publications, including the "Michigan Bar Journal," "Michigan CPA," "Michigan Probate and Estate Planning Journal," and "Michigan Tax Lawyer." Mr. Gregory was a fellow of the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel. He died on January 4, 2022.
