George T. Sinas, senior shareholder in the firm, focuses his practice in the area of plaintiff's personal injury law. He is a past president of the Michigan Association for Justice (formerly the Michigan Trial Lawyers Association) and a past chairperson of the Negligence Law Section of the State Bar of Michigan. He was named the 2013 "Michigan Lawyer of the Year" by Michigan Lawyers Weekly and has been designated as a "Michigan Super Lawyer" every year since 2006. "The Best Lawyers in America" has recognized Mr. Sinas in every edition since 1989 in the field of personal injury litigation and in 2009 designated him as the first "Personal Injury Litigator of the Year" for the Lansing area. Additionally, in 2003 Mr. Sinas received the "Leo A. Farhat Outstanding Attorney Award" from the Ingham County Bar Association and in 2005 he received the Michigan Brain Injury Association Legacy Society Professional Service Award. He also serves as general counsel to the Coalition Protecting Auto No-Fault, a coalition of consumer groups, medical providers, and others working to preserve the Michigan auto no-fault system. Mr. Sinas has also been an adjunct professor of law at the Michigan State University College of Law, where he has taught a course on the Michigan auto no-fault law and is a coauthor of a textbook entitled "Motor Vehicle No-Fault Law in Michigan."
