Alexander (Alex) J. Thibodeau is an associate at the firm. He represents a number of businesses and individuals in a wide range of litigation matters, including zoning, state and local property tax, utility service agreements, municipal ethics, commercial and residential real estate, construction litigation, and landlord and tenant rights. Mr. Thibodeau is a member of the Young Lawyers Section of the State Bar of Michigan, the Floyd Skinner Bar Association's Minority Clerkship Committee, and the National Black Lawyers (NBL). He also serves the Grand Rapids Bar Association (GRBA) as president of the Young Lawyers Section; as chair of the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Committee; and as a member of the Social Interaction Committee. Mr. Thibodeau was awarded the 3 in 10 Award, which recognizes three outstanding attorneys in their first 10 years of practice, in 2021 and the President's Award in 2022 by the GRBA. He is also listed in the NBL's 2022 40 Under 40.
