Shivangee Pandya is a licensed attorney with a strong background in advocacy. She has a long history of working with legal aid services, starting with the Michigan Unemployment Advocacy Project while in law school--where she focused on appellate litigation and public policy--and working for Lakeshore Legal Aid as an intake attorney postgraduation. In addition, Ms. Pandya has worked for Michigan Community Resources as a legal and policy intern, where she learned the ins and outs of creating and maintaining an attorney referral program. Through her private practice work, Ms. Pandya gained a background in intellectual property work, primarily related to trademarks and copyrights and nonprofit 501©(3) entity formation, both from the state and federal levels. She currently serves as the director of lawyers for the creative economy at Creative Many Michigan.
