Naomi N. Oglesby is senior counsel for the company and is responsible for managing employment law matters within the organization on a global scale. Before joining Micro Focus, she was at Little Caesars Enterprises, where she advised and defended management-side clients against full-spectrum employment claims, including harassment, discrimination, retaliation, breach of contract, confidentiality agreements, medical leaves, wage and hour laws, and other employment-related administrative charges and lawsuits. She litigated these matters in state and federal courts at the trial and appellate levels, having prevailed before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit, the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan, and state appellate and circuit courts. She is a member of the Employee Rights and Responsibilities Committee of the American Bar Association's Section of Labor and Employment Law, the State Bar of Michigan's Law & the Media Committee, the Federal Bar Association, and a past board member of the Wolverine Bar Association. Additionally, she is a recurrent mentor for the D. Augustus Straker Minority Bar Passage Program and the Wolverine Bar Association's Law Student Exam Preparation Workshop, and has spoken for a variety of professional organizations. She has been recognized as a "Michigan Super Lawyer Rising Star" since 2013.
