Zana Tomich is a cofounding partner of the firm. Ms. Tomich is a business lawyer who helps small to midsized businesses in Michigan capitalize on opportunities and manage risks, many of which are related to employment matters. She serves business clients in various capacities, including in the role of fractional general counsel, which puts her in a position to oversee and shape employment policies and procedures. Some of the specific types of issues that Ms. Tomich assists clients with include drafting handbooks and personnel policies; preparing employment, noncompete, and nonsolicitation agreements; preparing and negotiating severance agreements; and responding to agency charges and workplace discrimination claims. Ms. Tomich is a member of the State Bar of Michigan Character and Fitness Committee and serves on the Detroit Athletic Club's (DAC) and Detroit Public Schools' partnership and the DAC's Community Outreach Committee. She has been named a 2020 Go-To Lawyer by "Michigan Lawyers Weekly," as one of the Top Women Attorneys in Michigan, and a Rising Star by Super Lawyers.
