Meredith Holtz is a vice president, Michigan state counsel, and regional commercial agency counsel for Fidelity National Title Group, which encompasses Chicago Title Insurance Company, Fidelity National Title Insurance Company, and Commonwealth Land Title Insurance Company. She is a member of the State Bar of Michigan's Real Property Law Section, the Women Lawyers Association, the Oakland County Bar Association, and the legislative steering committee of the Michigan Land Title Association. Ms. Holtz also serves as cochairperson of the MLTA legislative committee, has served on the MLTA board of directors, and is the caselaw coordinator for the residential transactions and finance committee of the Real Property Law Section. In addition to providing underwriting support, she has acted as claims counsel; prepared and presented educational materials at both company-sponsored and MLTA-sponsored seminars; conducted individual training sessions for agents and direct operations; and written numerous articles for the MLTA publication "The Title Examiner." In 2015, she was given the Robert J. Jay Award by the MLTA in recognition of her contributions to the title industry.
