A partner in the firm, Brian E. Koncius practices in the area of employment law, representing individuals as well as corporations. He started his practice as a defense attorney at a large international law firm's Chicago, Illinois, office. Mr. Koncius is a past chair of the State Bar of Michigan's Labor and Employment Law Section Council and a member of the Oakland County Bar Association, where he sits on the Membership Committee and is a fellow of the Oakland County Bar Foundation. He is also active in the American Inns of Court and the National Employment Lawyers Association, where he serves on the Convention Committee and cochairs the Developing New Attorneys Section. Mr. Koncius has also been selected for inclusion in 2009 and 2010 as a Rising Star by Michigan Super Lawyers was named as an Up and Coming Lawyer in 2010 by "Michigan Lawyers Weekly." He speaks regularly on the topic of social media at professional conferences as well as to students who will be entering the workforce.
