Devin R. Day concentrates his practice in appellate law and civil litigation, primarily in the fields of insurance defense, personal injury, and family law, and is a recognized expert on the Michigan No-Fault Act. Mr. Day practices before all of the state and federal courts of Michigan, both at the trial and appellate levels. His appellate practice involves both consultation and direct representation and he routinely consults with attorneys and individuals on complex legal issues, both before and after judgment. He regularly represents individuals and large corporations on appeal before both the Michigan Court of Appeals and the Michigan Supreme Court. Previously, Mr. Day was a law clerk for Hon. Alton T. Davis and the director of oral advocacy at Michigan State University College of Law. He is a member of the Appellate Practice and Insurance & Indemnity Sections of the State Bar of Michigan and the Family Law Section of the Grand Rapids Bar Association. A frequent author and presenter on issues related to litigation, Mr. Day is a Barrister Member of the American Inns of Court and a member of the Order of Barristers.
