Patricia A. Reiser worked as an assistant prosecuting attorney for Washtenaw County for 17 years before going into private practice in the area of criminal defense. She is rated 10 out of 10 (“Superb”) on the lawyers’ website, Avvo. Ms. Reiser is a member of the Criminal Law section of the State Bar of Michigan, and is a board member of the Women Lawyers’ Association of Michigan, Washtenaw County chapter. She has extensive experience handling the 15th District Court’s treatment and specialty courts (Sobriety Court, Street Outreach Court, Veteran’s Court, Mental Health Court) in Ann Arbor. Ms. Reiser is a member of the Michigan Association of Drug Court Professionals (MADCP). She has specialized training on the Datamaster breath testing instruments, including the new DMT instrument, and has taught courses on drunk driving defense/issues for the Washtenaw County Bar Association and State Bar of Michigan Criminal Law Sections. Ms. Reiser has conducted OWI training for local police officers at the Washtenaw County Sheriff’s Department and the University of Michigan Department of Public Safety. She provides indigent defense for the 15th District Court’s dedicated Domestic Violence docket. She coordinates with the 14-B District Court’s Human Trafficking (HT) Court to transfer appropriate clients in need of that court’s services to that docket, and offers pro bono services as needed to HT Court clients.
