Richard L. Hurford is president of Richard Hurford Dispute Resolution Services, PC, and has experience in alternative dispute resolution (ADR) as a litigator, mediator, and ADR neutral. He is the current chair of the ADR Sections of both the Macomb and Oakland County Bar Associations, cochair of the ADR Section of the Federal Bar Association, and president of the Association for Conflict Resolution Michigan Southeast Chapter. In addition to his JD, Mr. Hurford also has earned an MBA and is a certified trainer in Legal Lean Sigma process improvement. He has been annually designated as a Best Lawyer in the areas of ADR, litigation, employment, and labor Law. Mr. Hurford is also experienced in various ADR processes such as med-arb, neutral expert evaluations, mini trials, dispute resolution boards, and providing counsel as a dispute resolution advisor.
