Marjory B. Cohen practices in the area of family law. For more than 30 years, she has focused her practice on issues of divorce, separate maintenance, child custody, child support, modifications of divorce judgments, appeals, prenuptial agreements, change of domicile, parenting time, and domestic partnership agreements and dissolutions. Ms. Cohen has represented victims of rape and domestic violence in the contexts of criminal law, family law, and personal injury litigation and has handled five homicide cases involving the battered spouse syndrome. She is a practitioner member of the Collaborative Law Institute of Michigan as well as a member and a past president of the Michigan Association for Justice (known then as the Michigan Trial Lawyers Association; MAJ). Also a member of the National Lawyers Guild, Ms. Cohen is a past president of its Detroit chapter. She is a frequent lecturer for ICLE and other organizations.
