Ronald P. Strote concentrates his practice in alternative dispute resolution and construction law. He is a past chair of the Construction Law Committee of the Real Property Law Section of the State Bar of Michigan. A frequent contributor to ICLE and a former member of ICLE's Real Property Law Advisory Board, Mr. Strote has lectured extensively on construction issues and has authored several articles on construction and real property issues. He has been honored by Michigan Super Lawyers as a Top 100 Michigan Super Lawyer from 2008 to 2015 and a Top 50 Business Lawyer in 2013, 2014, and 2015. He was also recognized by "Best Lawyers in America" as the 2011 Detroit Area Construction Lawyer of the Year, the 2013 Detroit Litigation-Construction Lawyer of the Year, the 2014 Detroit Construction Lawyer of the Year, the 2016 Troy Area Construction Lawyer of the Year, and the 2017 Troy Litigation-Construction Lawyer of the Year. Mr. Strote is an active arbitrator, mediator, and special case evaluator, privately, through court appointments, and for the American Arbitration Association, where he serves on the Midwest Master Mediator Panel. He is certified by the International Mediation Institute, The Hague, Netherlands.
