A director of the firm, Robert M. Vercruysse is a counselor and litigator in all areas of employment, labor, and civil rights law. His clients include manufacturing operations, institutions of higher education, hospitals and physicians, distributors, financial institutions, news organizations, and television stations. Mr. Vercruysse is a fellow of the College of Labor and Employment Lawyers, the American Bar Foundation, and the Michigan State Bar Foundation. He is a charter member of the American Employment Law Council and a life member of the Sixth Judicial Conference. Mr. Vercruysse serves on the Michigan Employment Relations Commission's Advisory Board, the EEOC Advisory Committee on ADR, and the American Bar Association's EEO Committee for Michigan. He is also the editor of the "Michigan Employment Law Letter" and past chairperson of the Labor and Employment Law Section of the State Bar of Michigan. A graduate of and former adjunct professor for the University of Michigan Law School, Mr. Vercruysse served as a law clerk to Hon. Clifford O'Sullivan of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit.
