About the Forms on CD
Our CD-ROMs include selected forms from the books that are commonly typed.
The CDs contain files that are compatible with Corel WordPerfect versions 8 and higher and Microsoft Word versions 97 and higher, for IBM PCs and PC compatibles and for newer Macintosh computers that provide options for running Windows programs. Users of older Macintosh computers can either convert the files into a compatible format by using conversion software (such as Apple File Exchange) or contact ICLE to obtain the files in uncompressed format.
Important: Files Are Compressed
The file compression program used on our CDs are WinZip®
Self-Extractor, by WinZip Computing, Inc.
The files on a CD can be quickly and easily uncompressed on any PC with a hard drive. If your PC does not have a hard drive or a CD-ROM drive and you cannot use the compressed files on the CD, or if you are a Macintosh user, we can send uncompressed files to you in either WordPerfect or Word (please specify) on request.

Getting Started
To work with the Forms on CD, simply open a file into Word
or WordPerfect the same way you would access any other word processing
file.
In Word or WordPerfect for Windows
• Go to the File menu (Office button in Vista) and select Open.
Change the folder or directory to the directory where you installed the
forms. Select the form you want to open and click OK or Open.
Once you have the file open in either WordPerfect or Word,
you can manipulate the text, spacing, and formatting as needed. Be sure
to save your edited form under a new file name on your hard drive so the
original form remains unaltered and you can use it later.

File Names
Each file contains a form printed in the book. The file
names on the disk correspond to the form numbers in the book. For example,
the file name RE03-01.DOC (or .WPD) contains form 3.1 from
Michigan
Real Estate Practice and Forms
, Exclusive Right of Sale Listing Agreement.
The forms included on the CD, their file names, corresponding form number,
and title in the book are listed in the back of the book. This list also
appears in a file on your CD. Note that not all forms from the book are
included on the CD.
