A Top Tips in Ten Minutes presentation provides expert guidance from an experienced practitioner. Top Tips offer key points of conversational advice about a specific topic. A Top Tips presentation is designed to be read within ten minutes and can be put into practice immediately.

• An ICLE staff lawyer will
  • explain the process to you in detail,
  • work with you to edit and finalize your Top Tips presentation, and
  • send you a link to the Top Tips presentation once it is posted on the ICLE website.
• An ICLE staff member will request your biography and high-resolution photo for the ICLE website.
• Feel free to contact the ICLE staff lawyer working with you at any point during the process if you have questions.

Although Top Tips presentations are designed to be read in less than ten minutes, drafting a presentation certainly takes longer. The initial drafting process will probably take you two to three hours. The editing process will take substantially less time.

Our Top Tips are reviewed by ICLE staff annually. If your tips need revision at that time, the ICLE staff lawyer will contact you with questions or suggestions. You will review the presentation and draft edits (or approve edits that the ICLE lawyer suggested). The ICLE lawyer working with you will give you plenty of time to review and revise your Top Tips.
