Gina M. Torielli

Gina M. Torielli practices in the areas of taxation and public finance. Now senior counsel at Dykema, she was the director of the Graduate Tax Program and professor from 2004 to 2014 at Cooley Law School, where she taught courses about tax practice and procedure, standards and ethics of tax practice, and tax-exempt organizations. Before teaching, Ms. Torielli served five years as president and CEO of Howard and Howard, PC, and was the first woman to serve as president of a major Michigan law firm. A past chair of the Taxation Section of the State Bar of Michigan, Ms. Torielli is a member of the National Association of Bond Lawyers and the Tax Section of the American Bar Association. She was designated one of the Top 10 Business Women of the Year by the National Association of Women Business Owners in the spring of 2003. Ms. Torielli was named one of "Corp!" magazine's 95 most powerful women in 2002.
