Karen T. Mendelson practices in the areas of business, commercial, and real property litigation and transactional work. She is a member of the Real Property Law Section of the State Bar of Michigan and the Washtenaw County Bar Association. Ms. Mendelson has spoken for ICLE and the Michigan Association of Realtors and has twice received the State Bar's Clarity Award. She is also the principal of Property Exchange Company, a qualified intermediary in 1031 exchange transactions, and author of "Section 1031 Exchanges of Vacation Homes," published in the "Michigan Bar Journal" in 2009.
