George J. Christopoulos is of counsel to Kerr Russell and practices in the areas of taxation, mergers and acquisitions, corporate law, business planning, and estate planning. Mr. Christopoulos is a certified public accountant and received an LLM in taxation in addition to his law degree. He is a member of the State Bars of Michigan and Florida, the ABA Taxation Section, the Business and Tax Law Sections of the State Bars of Michigan and Florida, the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, and the Michigan Association of Certified Public Accountants. He has written articles in the field of taxation that have appeared in "Taxation for Lawyers," "Taxation for Accountants," and the "Michigan Bar Journal."
