Daniel E. Cogan
Daniel E. Cogan practices in the areas of estate planning, estate settlement, and trust administration. He worked as a trust officer from 1974 until 2007 at a number of national and community-based banks. In 2008, Mr. Cogan joined the firm of Hooper, Hathaway, Price, Beuche & Wallace, PC, of Ann Arbor. He is a member of the State Bar of Michigan's Probate and Estate Planning Section and is a past member of the section's council. Mr. Cogan is also a member of the Estate Planning, Probate, and Trust Law Section of the Washtenaw County Bar Association. In addition, he is a member and past chairperson of the Michigan Bankers Association's Trust Counsel Committee and a past officer and director of both the Greater Lansing and the Washtenaw Estate Planning Councils. A speaker at several ICLE courses, he is a former adjunct instructor at Cooley Law School and guest lecturer at the University of Michigan Law School.
