After 26 years as Calhoun County Probate Court Judge, Phillip E. Harter now practices in the areas of probate, estate planning, and mediation of contested probate matters. Mr. Harter is a former chair of the Probate and Estate Planning Section of the State Bar of Michigan and the 2006 recipient of its Michael Irish Award. Mr. Harter is also recognized throughout the state for having created and managed the EPIC and MTC question website.
