Kanika Ferency is an assistant prosecutor. Before joining the prosecutor's office, she worked at ICLE with contributors to draft, edit, and update ICLE publications and resources in the areas of bankruptcy, business, consumer, debtor and creditor, and family law. Before coming to ICLE, Ms. Ferency worked at Lakeshore Legal Aid, where she advised low-income and elderly litigants on consumer, employment, housing, domestic, asylum, and immigration issues. She also clerked for the Hon. Karen McDonald in the Family Division for the Sixth Circuit Court. Ms. Ferency is a member of the Family, Business, and Consumer Law Sections of the State Bar of Michigan.
