Professor Charles J. Ten Brink joined the Michigan State University College of Law in 2001, after 15 years at the University of Chicago. He is associate dean for library and technology services and a professor of law, teaching courses in American legal history, advanced legal research, and land use planning. Professor Ten Brink's research interests are in land use planning and principles of research. He has made presentations to the American Association of Law Libraries on the use of technology in legal education and research support. Professor Ten Brink has served on the American Bar Association (ABA) Committee on Law Libraries and on two ABA site inspection teams for other law schools. He practiced municipal law for several years before leaving practice for academic work.
