Partnership Content and Benefits
The ICLE Partnership connects you to the Michigan legal
experts, updates, and practice advice you need. As a Partner, you will
have access to the online resources 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, at
ICLE's Web site.
Online Resources
Live and Archived Webcasts and MP3 files. Partners may view almost
all Partnership seminars at the exact time they are occurring live and
may submit questions to the live faculty. You may also print a seminar
handbook directly from your desktop. Archived (recorded) versions of the
webcasts are available for viewing online beginning three weeks after
the live webcast.
MP3 files are also available to listen to on your computer or MP3 player (e.g. Apple iPod).
Seminar Materials. All the seminar materials for Partnership seminars
held since September 1, 2000, are available online. You can search the
collection of seminar materials, read a seminar material on your screen,
or download the entire seminar material.
Drafted Forms and Checklists with Expert Commentary. Over 2,200
drafted business, family law, labor and employment, litigation, probate
and estate planning, and real estate forms can be downloaded in Word or
WordPerfect and customized to fit your practice. Forms are regularly reviewed
and revised, and more forms are added all the time.
ClauseBank. Choose from more than 180 clauses for divorce judgments
and settlement agreements. Users can suggest clauses or submit their
own.
SCAO-Approved Court Forms. Over 650 SCAO-approved court forms
are available in PDF format. The forms can be filled out on your screen
using Adobe Acrobat Reader (this software is free) and printed. Whenever
the SCAO updates a form, we will update our collection so you are using
the most up-to-date version.
MI Law Updates. This area includes a searchable collection
of the summaries of major legal developments sent by email to Partners
each week. It also includes "New Law Centers" - collections of resources
on recent major changes in Michigan law.
How-To Kits How-To Kits include legal background, forms, and
checklists to provide the legal practice aid you need to handle specific
legal transactions. More than 160 are available.
Weekly E-mail Alerts. "This Week in Michigan Law" is an e-mail alert
including short summaries of major statutory changes, significant Michigan
cases, statutory amendments, and practice developments. The updates cover developments
in real estate, business, probate and estate planning, labor and employment,
civil litigation, and family law. The weekly updates are archived in the New
Law Updates/Summaries area of the Partnership.
