ICLE book prices cover the book's main text plus all supplements necessary to bring the book up to date as of the date of purchase. Most ICLE books are supplemented on a periodic or annual basis.

When you purchase an ICLE book you are considered a subscriber unless you indicate otherwise on your order. As a subscriber, you will be sent and invoiced for future supplements at a discount, and subsequent editions at a substantial discount. Late fees will be charged on overdue balances. You may cancel your subscription at any time by notifying ICLE in writing. All return privileges apply.

If we publish a supplement or new edition of a book within 90 days of the date you purchase that book, you will automatically receive the supplement or new edition free. The 90 days is calculated from the date we actually publish the supplement or new edition, not from any advertised or planned publication date. Actual publication dates may vary from planned dates.

New purchasers receive the complete publication and all updates published in the first year. Each year purchasers receive a renewal notice that allows them to sign up for the next year of updates for an additional fee.

ICLE Partner Discounts: Partners receive a 10% discount on all books and disk products (supplements excluded) and a 30% discount on all seminar handbooks and audio CDs.

ICLE Seminar Attendee Discount: A 10% discount is offered on all ICLE books* and CD ROMs if purchased at a live ICLE course presentation of which the purchaser is a registrant.
(*Individual supplement purchases not included).

Nonprofit Legal Service Discount: A 20% discount on ICLE products is extended to schools, colleges, law school libraries, public libraries, bar association libraries, legal aid organizations, and book sellers.

Bulk Purchases: Purchasers of 11 or more copies of a single title also receive a 20% discount.

Discounts may not be combined.

Books and Seminar Handbooks: If within 30 days of purchase you are not satisfied with any ICLE book or seminar handbook, you may return it in unmarked condition for a refund of the purchase price (not including shipping). If your binder or disk is defective, please alert ICLE and we will replace it.

Disks, audio and video products: ICLE disk products, CD-ROMS, audiocassettes, audio CDs, and videocassettes are not returnable. If defective, they will be replaced upon request (see Return Policies for Seminar Products).

Overpayments: ICLE automatically issues refunds for overpayments of $15 or more. Due to the cost of processing refunds, refunds less than $15 may only be applied to current outstanding balances.

Sales Tax: Michigan's 6% sales tax applies to ICLE book, CD, course handbook, and disk product purchases. (Sales tax does not apply to ICLE Seminar registration fees or to the ICLE Partnership fee.)

Shipping and Handling: An $9.00 shipping/handling charge applies to ICLE book, CD, course handbook, and disk product purchases. Additional shipping charges will be applied to large orders.

If your binder, book, disk, CD-ROM, or audio CD is defective, please let us know and we will replace it. Call toll free at (877) 229-4350 and indicate you need a replacement for a defective product.

If you are missing pages from a book, please call ICLE toll free at (877) 229-4350 and ask for "missing pages." A modest charge applies for replacing missing pages or binders.
