            Amendment of 2006-2007 Holiday Schedule 
            for the Supreme Court and Court of Appeals
                                          
            
       On order of the Court, this is to advise that the holiday schedule for the
  Supreme Court and Court of Appeals, as set forth in MCR 8.110(D), is modified
  as follows:
  
          Christmas Eve and New Year's Eve fall on Sundays in 2006. 
          Instead of taking the preceding Fridays as holidays, as MCR
          8.110(D) provides, the Supreme Court and Court of Appeals will
          take Tuesday, December 26, 2006, and Tuesday, January 2,
          2007, as holidays.  
  
  This modification will conform the Courts' schedules to the holiday
  schedule in effect for the rest of state government.
