Mohamed Ali Abed Banoon is a small business and nonprofit attorney based in the Detroit metropolitan area. He serves as outside general counsel to his corporate and nonprofit clients, advising them on a variety of legal matters, including corporate formation and governance, regulatory compliance, contract drafting, mergers and acquisitions, and employment matters. Before starting his own practice, Mr. Banoon represented small business, nonprofit, and immigration clients at a midsized law firm in Dearborn. He is a graduate of Wayne State University Law School. In addition to his legal practice, Mr. Banoon serves as a member of the board of directors of the Mainstay Foundation. He has lived and worked in the Detroit Metropolitan area for over 20 years
